11 Agrigento - Valle dei Templi & Scala dei Turchi

Arrived in Agrigento mid-day in time for a pasta lunch - and then off to the Valle de Templi - an ancient archaeological site. It is called one of the most outstanding examples of greater Grecian architecture - especially outside of Greece. The day was wet, but it did not dampen our private tour of the multiple temples remaining at this site. The evening was capped off by an excellent dinner at the top of the hill on which the city is built.
