12 Cross Sicily - Agrigento to Siracusa

The drive across Sicily from Agrigento to Sircusa (west to east) provided a wide variety of vistas - from famland to mountainous terrain - from rich, verdant hills to towns within the mountains. Most of this set of images was shot through the front car window as the land passed under us. In some intances we were high over the farmland as the highway was raised above the ground for miles and miles and miles. And as we came closer to the east coast of Sicily, Mt. Etna rose into view.
