13 Siracusa and Isle of Ortigia - Day 1

First day in Siracusa. Lunchon the marina followed by weaving through the Isle of Ortigia. Tempo di Apollo, Fountain of Diana, in and around the narrow streets of via Giudecca, via del Croccefisso and then into the piazzas of Minerva and del Duomo. Visits to the Cathedral of Sircusa and Church of Sata Lucia. Wove down toward the marina for a snack and stroll along the Longomare Alfeo to the Castello Minace. From there we followed via Salamone toward Corso Giacomo Matteotti where there is major league shopping. As the sun set, headed toward the marina again, with a stop for dinner along the way.
